Contributions Guideline
ISBN
The abstracts from both oral and poster presentations will be collected in a book with ISBN code, and distributed free of charge to all participants while supplies last.
LANGUAGE:
Posters and PowerPoint slides need to be in English. Considering the presence of international guests, English is also the preferred language for the oral presentations.
ORAL PRESENTATIONS:
The oral presentations should last maximum 15 minutes: 12 minutes of talk and 3 minutes of discussion.
The short communications should last maximum 10 minutes. It is suggested to have maximum 10 slides with the following organization:
- Table of content
- Background information
- Materials & methods
- Results
- Conclusions
Powerpoint format (ppt and pptx) will be the only accepted for the oral presentations. Operative System: Microsoft Windows 7.
POSTERS:
DIMENSIONS: All posters should have the following dimensions: 90 x 120 cm, vertical orientation.
CONTENT: The poster should contain the following information:
- Abstract
- Background information
- Materials & methods
- Results
- Conclusions
POSTER EXPOSITION: All posters may be exposed starting from the Wednesday the 12th of July in designated area. Authors should be present at their poster during the designated poster sessions on the 13th and 14th of July just after lunch. Poster visiting and evaluation will take place at the same time.
ORAL POSTER PRESENTATION: For the quick poster presentation, it is suggested to prepare maximum 3 slides.
POSTER AWARDS:
Every poster will be evaluated by at least 3 referees chosen among the participants. The best 6 posters will receive a prize in a special session on the 14th of July.
